Narcissistic historical personalities are covered in mythologies created by 

themselves and their entourage. Here, the artist shifts this towards the absurd: 

instead of depicting Napoleon fully clothed, standing heroically in the windy island 

of St Helena looking out towards his homeland, he's on a tropical Island in bathing 

trunks, after getting his first tattoo.
